A Kitchen with a Purpose
Jan's Bakery & Gifts started the way all good things do — at the kitchen table. When liver cancer touched our family, we knew we had to do something. Not just talk about it. Not just donate once. But build something lasting.
Every two months, we set up a bake sale right outside our home. The table fills with sourdough loaves, cupcakes, brownies, and handmade gift boxes — all baked from scratch with love, care, and the best ingredients we can find.
Every single penny raised goes directly to liver cancer research and support. No admin fees, no middlemen. Just flour, sugar, butter, and a fierce determination to make a difference.
What started as a small table on the pavement has grown into something beautiful — a community of neighbours, friends, and strangers united by the belief that kindness (and great baking) can change the world.
